Morris Frank suffered the terrible coincidence of two separate accidents, which left him blind in both eyes. When he first heard about the efforts of Dorothy Harrison Eustis, a former police dog trainer who was studying guide dogs in Germany, he rushed to help her bring guide dogs to America.
